This 12 mile long scenic drive up the slopes of Mauna Loa meanders to a lookout point. This winding road starts just off of Highway 11, south of the Volcano Golf Course. With lava flows, endangered plants, native birdlife and koa forests Mauna Loa Strip Road is a hidden jewel.
