These webcams are LIVE from the U.S.G.S. (United States Geological Survey) with autofocusing and pan-tilt-zoom! The cameras automatically focuses its view, and U.S.G.S. Hawaiian Volcano Observatory staff may change the view angle or zoom amount depending on eruptive activity.
Last Eruption Date: April 17th, 2025
Episode 18 was a brief eruptive event taking place overnight on April 16th. Both vents are currently degassing. If the eruptive activity reverts to previous volcanic behavior, data indicates that episode 19 is likely to begin in the next 1-3 days.
